Anyway, I have to take my camaro in for some tranny work and I will need to get a rental car in the mean time. Do you think it's worth renting a corvette for a couple days (which would eat into the Viper downpayment), or should I live in ignorant bliss of how much better the Viper is over the C5? Any idea what it costs to rent one?

Well, renting a corvette was only about $125/day so it wasn't that bad for a day or two, but it seems there's no point -- I'm three months away from being 25, so I couldn't rent the "premium" vehicles -- no vette, no SUVs, no PT crusier. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. It's under my insurance if there are any problems, and I'm only 3 months away. I wouldn't even mind paying a couple dollars more, but no.

I got the option of picking between a Malibu (170 rockin HP) or a Neon. Wahoo.

They'll never get my business again.
