What will you do, if you have 3 cars but your garage is only for 2 cars?
If two of them are very "low" cars - here is an idea how to do....:)

interesting.

the driving down wouldnt bother me, but the driving backwards would.

you must be a pretty good driver to get your viper that close to the wall too! wow.

you're one very brave (or very mis-informed) person. I don't think I could have that Miata precariously sitting atop my Viper

I get nervous backing my car onto normal ramps to work on the back end. Seems like it would be much easier on the nerves to just park the other car outside or get a cover for the Miata. You far braver than I.:omg:

Don't think a four poster would fit in that small of a space. Some times you have to make do with what you have. congrats on making it work.

You only need 7' for the posts, there's plenty of room there.

Compare pictures;

Yes I know my brother has the same four post one as you but look at how close his passenger side tires are to the wall. the posts make the foot print at least another 18" wider.

Very nice. I'm going to do something like that for my motorcycles. Could you describe how you went about it?

Thats scary just looking at. I'd save myself a lot of grey hairs and keep the Miata parked outside

The Miata was my first car which i bought back in 1993!
I drove it nearly 150.000km
When i bought the viper in 2007 I had not the heart to kick the
miata out of the garage. So i stored it under the garage roof.
This construction is not for daily use. It is a kind of storage.
The last two years i only put it down 3 or 4 times and drove less than 50km with the miata, but about 20.000km with the snake.
I am from Austria on the border to switzerland and love to drive in the mountains.
And here in the alps we have plenty of very nice and winding roads up to 8.000 feet! :D

Now that is crazy :omg:

the only person that i think would feel comfortable with that set up would be a guy that hauls and delivers vehicles with a semi car hauler.

The car is not an european version - its US

Engineering skill is part of what draws me to this community!.. Kinda scarry I'd say. I'd leave the Miata outside too.
