My wife and I flew out of Chicago this Thursday for the long awaited day of delivery! The flight was easy 1.5 hrs,the hardest part was getting on the plane at O'hare. It started out with a very nice gentleman picking us up at Omaha. We arrived at Woodhouse in less than 30 min. We first met with Bill Pemberton,he gave us a tour around the dealership, then the moment of truth!!!!THE VIPER!!! As I walked threw the warehouse full of Vipers I can see ours shining in the far left corner. It had finally hit me!!! That's our car!! My wife was just as excited as me! The detailer (Josh) was just finishing up the final touches! We went back to the showroom and sat down to finalize the paperwork and to my surprise walked in BOB WOODHOUSE!! My wife and I were pleased to meet and speak with him as he was a very nice down to earth person! We finished up the paperwork handed the check over to the business officer and made our way towards our NEW VIPER! We got in and cranked the motor listened to the music of the V10!! We said goodbye to all the wonderful people at woodhouse and made our way out of Nebraska 500 miles home. The whole experience of buying a "WOODHOUSE VIPER" was unlike any other auto purchase we have ever made. Bill Pemberton is a very nice friendly person,he made our purchase easy and painless. We feel as if we bought our Viper from friends!! The service and personal attention was above the rest! I have been surfing this UBB for over a year and after all the satisfied posts of Viper owners whom purchased from Woodhouse there was no question where I was going to get our new viper. I would like to thank Bill Pemberton for all his personal attention with our purchace. And ALSO would like to thank all of you guys here for everything!! YOU GUYS are BAR NONE and a real down to earth bunch of guys, I look forward to joining VCA and establishing a friendship with all of you.

Congrats on your purchase. You will find driving a Viper to be one of the most rewarding things ever.

From your post and many others on this board, it seems to be pretty apparent that it is very important to deal with a Viper specialist.

I have heard great things about Woodhouse, and they were quick to respond to an e-mail inquiry I had a while back. However, here in Illinois we also have a copule of dealers that sell lots of Vipers. 1) Koller Dodger in Naperville 2) Roanoke Motors in Roanoke IL (2hrs from Chicago).

The best car buying experience ever was when I bought my 1994 RT/10 from John Gastman at Roanoke Motors. This was followed by another great experience when I got my 2001 RT/10 from John. Not to mention, the service at Roanoke is awesome. From Chicago, it is great drive down to his shop (straight down I-55 or my favorite I-39) you can really enjoy the car. Dave (the Viper Tech at Roanoke) makes it to some of the IL VCA racing events and really knows these cars. I have found John to be a real straight shooter, and a good friend.

Come out to the VCA meetings in Schaumburg and you will find many people that bought from Roanoke, Koller and Woodhouse that all have one thing in Common - a great Car!!!

In regards to Koller, Don (the Viper Specialist) seems like a nice guy and makes it to many of the VCA meetings and has a great reputation on the sales end. However, my only experiences with Koller have been service related (on the 94 RT/10). To be quite honest I was not very impressed, I think they are simply too large of a dealer. The service manager said that they could not keep my Viper overnight for security reasons. I guess it is better than having a porter hot rodding in it, but it was a real pain in the butt!!

IN ILLINOIS CALL ROANOKE MOTORS (800)541-6858. YOU WON'T BE LET DOWN. I am not sure how many Vipers they typically stock, but more than I cared to count.

-A very satisfied customer

Welcome aboard. Whatever you do, don't take your eyes off of the car unless it's to look at your wife. A word of advise...car cover, car cover, car cover if you take it places and you cant see the car. Do a search on the board here and you can see what can happen if you do leave it unprotected. You now own one of the most visible cars in America.
