Track Record at New Jersey Motorsports Park

For those who may not have been there, Kuno Wittmer set a new track record at New Jersey Motorsports Park for a production street car at 1.28.0. That beats the existing track record by about 12 seconds. He did it in a stock 2011 ACR. The ACR now holds track records at a number of tracks including Laguna Seca.

Ooopss...yes, I did mean 2010. Thanks for the catch, Bruce. BTW...we also hold the track record at Miller Motorsports Park (1:59.9) right outside of Salt Lake City. My guess is that Kuno will try for it again next month at VIR when the VRL and ACR-X series races there. How great is it that Viper holds the record for the fastest production car lap at the best and most challenging tracks in America!!!!
