Uh Oh...Starter clicks but does'nt turn over

05 10k warm weather ao..........sounds like it wants to fire but does'nt. What do you think ?

If it doesn't turn over than the battery is most likely your porblem. I had the same issue on my '06 and solved it by replacing the battery.

try a new battery... just happened to my '96 and sounds like the same problem.

Just watched the Niners get thier ass kicked.....i'll swap the battery tomorrow-----nothing tricky about changing the battery I presume.

So long as you know where it is and have a screw gun. For fun try to remove the screws to the battery cover by hand.

I replaced my battery, then the new battery wouldn't hold a charger from a charger ... turned out to be a loose ground cable by the battery near the trunk.

Yeah, try to fire??? Is that like striking a match and it won't light??:confused: I think the best bet is to hook up the tow strap, get going @ about 15mph and pop the clutch. Could also push it down a hill.:headbang: Starter clicks hard or rapid makes a difference. Hard click=starter, rapid = dirty battery connects or low voltage.
