October 18th VCA Free Dyno Day – Concord, NC
Most significantly, on October 18th in Concord, NC (near Charlotte, NC), the Carolinas Viper Club is having a dyno day at fellow Carolinas VCA member Steve Burrow’s shop 3SX Performance Automotive (www.3sx.com) located at 4317 Triple Crown Drive, Concord, NC 280274317 Triple Crown Drive, Concord, NC 28027. (About the dyno equipment and shop: http://www.3sx.com/dyno/default.asp.) Steve is providing a discounted rate for club members (2 pulls), and the club will pick up the remainder (as well as lunch), so the event is FREE for Carolinas club members! Be sure to get out early though, because doors open ~8 a.m., dyno starts ~9 a.m., and there will also be some big power Mitsubishi 3000s attending, so the earlier the better to ensure you can get your dyno pulls in! Please email me to confirm if you will be attending (with or without your Viper), so we can ensure the proper amount of lunch is ordered.
Other Dyno Days
We are considering having 1 or 2 more dyno events this fall in the Carolinas in other areas (Raleigh? South Carolina?), depending on enough members expressing interest for such an event in their area – so if you are interested in one in your area, please let me know!
