Does a VEC 2 allow you to easily set a rev limit for the engine like an MSD ignition does? Something simple like interchangeable cards? I'm thinking about having some paint work done and with all the horror stories of shops taking vipers for "test drives" I figured this would be some cheap insurance.

lol, set it for about 1.5K RPM.

Seriousely though, I took my 05' Mustang GT to the dealership to get a clip replaced under warranty and noticed 10 miles put n the car! I set the tripometer before hand, because I'm no fool and my stang looks cool, so I knew those tools would want to spin the tires. Luckily my odometer mileage was also documented in the peper work when I first got to the shop, o was more evidence that someone took it for a joy ride. Make sure you get the manager to come outside and document the odometer milkeage on your Viper. It can't hurt anything!
