Due to no more room in my garage, I sold my 72 Vette to make room for the Viper. WHo ditched their Vette for a Viper and what type of Vette was it?

1963 Split Window Coupe. Completely restored, Red/Red L-75 motor (300HP), knock off wheels. Took me 5 years to do it.

Towards a 1993 Red RT/10.

Never had so much fun in my life as with this Viper!!

2002 Z06... Just sold it a few months ago... In order to get my 2001 GTS...

Nothng bad to say about the Z06... It was a different kind of car all together. A little more friendly to drive everyday. But just did not have the brute force the Viper has..

1997 C5, thought I would keep it when I bought my '97 GTS. Didn't take long for it to "collect dust" in my garage, so I sold it a few months later! :D

As much as I love Vipers I'll add one as an ADDITION, but refuse to replace. Funny thing is when I drove the Viper it felt as if I was driving a modern day Big Block Stingray. Dodge did an awesome job capuring the soul of classic muscle. :2tu:

I had a 1994 Admiral blue 6-speed convertible, and it was a great car! But the Viper was a dream car for me.

I have a 1966 Corvette Coupe (California Car) that I was in the process of restoring when I found my 98 GTS (Red w/Silver Stripes). I promised my wife if I could buy the Viper I would sell the Vette when it was completed. I just completed the Vette 2 weeks ago. It is now FOR SALE!! It will pay for my Viper.

01 Black Z06. I bought one of the very first Z06's produced and loved it -- excellent track and autocross car. But my 02 GTS out-does it in every way!

'02 Coupe. Bought a '01 GTS ACR Thursday. Loved the Vette, the Viper is a new world!

'02 convertible modded to about 410RWHP. It was a great comfortable car but it's time for something unique and WILD!

Haven't recieved my SRT10 yet but i'm sure i made the right decision.

I had a highly modded 01 Z06 and loved it. I will have another Z06 when the C6 comes out.

Mercy, looks like 04 was a good year. Anything modded yet?

Then you'll go and muck it up with an 06 and have an oddball year in the fleet (at least it will be an even numbered year)! LOL!!!!

I came to the end of my lease of a 2001 Vette Vert 6 speed on 6/15/04 (also had a 75,92,93,96, and 00) and did not miss it at all.

I've had 6 Vettes and never really liked any of them, my wife talks me in to them and then I realize the mistake and get rid of them and lose mega $$$.

Besides the Viper, my 03 Cobra I traded in on it was my next favorite car ever.

I had a 97 Trans AM Vert 6 speed, it was alot of fun, but not quite fast enough. It did feel more like a muscle car than any new car I've owned.

Now the C6 Z06 might be a force to be reckoned with, but it still is not a Viper.
