Buddy has an 05 Vette with 4.10's, a 6 speed, cams and exhaust. Supposed to be 415 rwhp dynoed. He wants to come here and race me at the local track. I think it should be close and all driver. Anybody race one of these? How will I do in a 1/4 mile race and how will I do in a roll on from 30 mph up to 150 mph? Mine is a 98 GTS with the standard mods, exhaust, smooth tubes, etc. Dynoed at 419 rwhp before I took the cats out. Im curious to see how they do against each other and have never had the pleasure of racing a Vette yet.

My 06 C6 with the Auto tranny ran 12.7's @111 stock. With the mods your friend has listed it would have ran 12.0-12.1's@116-117. If he has a stick, depending on his ability take .2 tenths off. (This is pretty consistant with what bone stock SRT-10's run in ohio) I'd say you have a pretty even race ahead of you. On the Freeway if he is a stick, he may pull on you. The LS family of motors are great freeway cars. High Rev Limit with a smooth and long Peak HP band.

Goodluck!

His is a stick. We'll see if he gets here to race this summer. If he does I will post the results. I think it will be really close.

Don't forget those 4.10's versus our 3.08's. That could give the vette an acceleration edge from stop.

I have run in the viper-vette races several times and there are a several corvettes wtih heads and cam that are running 11.5 or better.
