A suggestion, especially after seeing yet another "Viper as a daily driver?" thread. Can the user registration default to the FAQ off the main Viperclub.org page after registration is complete? Then have a link at the bottom of that page to the UBB. I imagine it will help most people, and only the truelly unwilling will continue to repost questions seen every two weeks.
Also, maybe a bold 25-point font SEARCH link should be put on the FAQ page above the UBB link. They might consider using that first too with a less-than-subtle hint.
