I was surfing the web looking at the dimensions of other sports cars, just because there were recent posts here on lowering the suspension and found the following collection of cars. I am always a bit careful when passing other suvs or trucks on the street, just because the Viper is so low it is easily missed. The roofline barely goes up to the windows of many vehicles and even a shouldercheck will often overlook a Viper driving beside them.

Not too many exotics out there lower than a RT/10 :) Too bad cars are growing higher each year.

Interesting. I never thought about the height difference between an RT/10, GTS and SRT-10 before. I've been told many times that I was low-down...this proves it. Thanks!

There are some cars missing in this list...just added the Noble M400 with 45.0" and the Cobra at 53.4" :) I guess modern cars are made to appear lower by having bigger wheels. Camaros and Challengers come with 20s to keep the proportions right, but once you see them standing next to a really low car, you get that wow effect.

In the second pic, it must be so tempting to have a little race in the parkade :D
Is yours lowered, VancouverGTS? We should head out to the cars and coffee at Jericho Beach in the summer :2tu:

That is very interesting. Amazing how they could have so much stock wheel gap but yet still be one of the shortest cars!

It's usually every second Saturday of the month. It's hosted by Weissach (they supply the coffee and donuts), but it's open for everyone. It's fairly early though, starts at 8 am...
Haven't been to it myself, but I've seen some pics, and it looks like fun. Quite a few exotics :2tu:
