1 year ago at 29 I was paying $850 a year through State Farm, now that I am 30 still pay that. I have read many posts about insurance on this board and a lot of people seem to be using state farm.

Also, I noticed a lot of insurance company's will not insure you if you are under 30.

29 here.

I'm with State Farm.

I pay $1200 a year....no tickets or claims of any kind in the past 10 years and pretty substantial multi-car discounts.

I'm 29, unmarried with no tickets, living near Seattle, and bought my 02 RT/10 on Monday. In the interest of getting it quickly insured, I got full coverage on the Viper and on my 97 Z28 for $1500/6mo through Progressive. I'll of course be shopping for half that price soon.

30 with perfect record. $125/month.

I actually bought my RT in Burlingame and for curiosity's sake, at that time (28) a local CA company quoted $200/month.

Yup, same thing here, except a Canadian carrier.

I own the car and just added my teenage son on my policy and kept it fairly cheap.

Yep, definently helps to know your agent. I am an insurance agent. 23 by the way. However, we also own a used car lot and I run dealor tags on the viper. Just cheaper that way. ;)

I am 18 here and insurance here in New Jersey is a huge annoyance. I have full coverage and I am paying $5000 per year. Yes once again a big pain but hey in New Jersey you really have no choice. I am with State Farm and have a clean record. It is also a lot cheeper because I got it insured in my fathers name which isn't that bad since I am a junior. Same name no problem. LOL

***....How many accidents do you have on record...4 points alone can't be doing that much damage to your pocket....That's a New York premium you are paying for a 20 something driver with 6+ points on his liscense and a few accidents....Back when I was 28 I had priced a "hypothetical" GTS with Geico...With no points/accidents I was quoted $8100 full coverage  Needless to say that was the end of my aspirations to own a Viper in New York...I gotta move to Florida.........

I'm also in the Bay Area and pay $1440 per year through Nationwide, though I've heard they are not taking on any new CA. clients.

First Viper at 25 and I am married. Now on my 3rd at age 32. Wrecked one at the track and another was totaled and still have never paid more than $600/6 mos. Always listed as a 3rd car and under 7500 mi/yr. Had AAA now I have Allstate. BTW my track wreck was covered under 'driving school'.

There are some companies that will just insure exotics and it's pretty cheap (I was quoted 450/yr) but you cant drive to work or school. The one I got a quote from was LelandWest insurance. Sorry, I don't have their #. You can find them on a search.

I pay alot. It is less than my C5 though. I have a pretty fast driving record. I think my answer would skew what you are asking because my record makes it so high.

It depends on year of the car as well as your age. Not a lot of difference in the year but some. I'm 32 and pay $1360/year.

*** is right, but what can you do? With my driving record and age(18), insurance companies just loooove me. :D

26, single, 8 points, 1 accident when I was 16, 2 counts of reckless driving (speeds exceeding 40mph over posted.)

With long term discount, defensive driver, homeowners discount, and multiple vehicle I'm at $3600/yr.
