I am looking for the best (looking) stripe kit available for an SRT-10 Viper. My Viper is black and I was thinking about a set of silver stripes...but not sure which shape, size, etc. would look best. I am located in Portland, Oregon and need somebody to install them also as I've worked with adhesive stripes before with not so great results!

Please post photos of your suggestions! Thanks!

The guy that bought my black '03 just added silver stripes. I will try to get pictures of it later this week. The one picture I saw (and now can't find) looks GREAT!!

Now that the factory will be adding stripes, I would suggest keeping them same style. I'm guessing they will be 8" stripes with a 4" gap, no taper.

I know that 1MEANSNAKE will make the kit for you. Installing it on the SRT might be easier than on the Gen II. Not sure, you can try and PM him.

Heres an idea. This SRT was on E-bay not long ago.

even Viper owners are capable of really bad taste, I especially like the baby blue emblems

Okay, still haven't been to my friends house yet, but here is the picture he sent:

And here are a couple that were posted here a while back:

And while it is not black, here is the "non-tapered" look, courtesy of madman:

Hope this helps!

Yeah both look pretty mean. The mirrored tail on the black one may be a bit much for regular street use. Could be real ugly at night in traffic.

The concept however is fantastic. Make them silver or white and you have a winner.

I like the silver ones on Y2K's post. Any idea if they are paint or tape?

Thanks!

The 2 pictures from the front have different spacing between the stripes. Unless he is a magician, at least one of the pictures is fake. I vote they all are.

Now that this has become a Photoshop debate, here you go:

The first black/silver is 100% real and the stripes are painted - not taped. The last three are Photoshopped. By the way, that first black SRT-10 is my 2003 which now belongs to a friend in our local club. I will try to get over there this weekend to get more pictures from different angles and close up.

Hmmmm, I thought someone had posted that the stripes on the red SRT were real. And the reason they look off is because of the lighting. Well, thats my opinion anyway. :p
