The raffle car was banged off the wall last night at the truck race, as it was used as the pace car last night.

Nah, just kidding, but it was a sight to see someones new car used as the pace car of a professional race. Enjoy whoever wins!

I love the wing (98 GT2 resemblance), but cannot believe that someone thought the hood & checkers would look good! That is exactly what the car COVER should have been (that would have been extremely COOL for the winner), but not to taint the actual car.

Do you guys (&gals) think the car 'cover' idea would have been better?????

The hood doesn't bother me nearly as much as those checkers.

Even if they are decals, if you remove them you'll hurt
your resale because now you'll be altering what makes the
car original. Catch 22.

That is a seriously bad alteration, more FnF than VCA.

Car has the Bavarian State Flag pattern on the side graphics, maybe a shot of it parked outside the Hofbrau Haus in Munchen is in order? Eins, Zwei, Zuffa ! Prost! ( hic )

I was taking a close look at the raffle car at VOI, and it looked as if all the graphics were PAINTED on. I too was debating about keeping the checkers or removing them WHEN I win it. I guess they're there to stay.

If they are painted on, wet sand them off and shoot a new coat of stone white and clear on.

That's what I'm going to do next week when she's delivered.

Re: VOI VCA Viper and RSI TT System Raffle *Who Won?

Who won the raffle?

I'm not actually sure if the raffle is today or SUNDAY.

The tickets say Oct 29 (Sunday) while the registration form says Oct 27 (today).

No word yet? So, maybe the drawing is on Sunday morning?

Otherwise, who won?

:)
