Warranty transfer

My recently purchased snake came with a transferrable 7/75 warranty. The warranty papers read as if I have to take the contract to an "authorized DC dealer" for transfer. Previous owner (Chris) thinks I should be able to send the warranty in for transfer, but the papers do not say where to mail for this transaction. There are a couple of small dealers local to me, is any Chrysler dealer "authorized" to do the transfer ? If it can be done by mail, where do I send the paperwork ? Thanks in advance.

When I purchased mine, I simply took the policy to the closest Chrysler Dealer, paid them $50 (I think that's the amount, and they took care of the rest. Within 10-14 days, I received my new policy in the mail.
