Street tires? XGTs or MXX3s?

That's interesting, because the "don't go in the water box with street tires" theory is one that gets repeated much, but you are the first one I know who has tried it. 1.892 is a good short time for a Gen I car (stock rear end?). You didn't change anything in your launch technique after doing a wet burnout?

Oh, probably only about $1500 installed for a new clutch. What's the alternative, sit at home and post numbers from Motor Trend on the internet??? Not me! I'd rather be out there burning up my clutch!

BTW, what kind of ETs and trap speeds did you end up running?

Hey bill,My friend has a 94,what was your et/mph throughout the day.Good launching technique.I back up to the edge of the water box, burnout. The water bacically coats the outside tread and biggest Plus, easy going on the 1/2 shafts. No dry burnouts, pull right to the line,it might save your stock 1/2 shafts!
