7.0 or less at around 100MPH or better should make for a high 10 second time on grippy tires with a well prepped track. :2tu:

That's just about in line. A 7.5 in the 1/8th netted a 11.6 in the 1/4.

Your right, when I ran an 11.oo index I would be dead on a 7.01 to 7.03. That was with sixty foots in the 1.50 to 1.56 range in a 94 Formula automatic. It's possible that with that same sixty foot and around a 7.10 you can be on an 11.00 in a Viper.....maybe a little better in the back half.

Tony I would really love to see what you would run in a 1000+ hp viper.

I had a 6.6 60 and only went 10.93.

I missed 4th tho. Yes I missed 4th. It can happen when one is shifting that fast.

But normally a low 7.0 will get you in the high 10's with a good 60.

John

ps - looking at a slip from Bradenton and I had a 6.82 and went 10.52. The car in the other lane had a 7.08 and went 10.88(roe s/c and nos)

Stu

do you mean an aftermarket shifter or just a knob. I have an MGW knob which lowered the shifter some and works really well. It was purely me and trying to shift to fast.
