I just put on a new set of Pilots on and WOW what a difference! I had the old Pilots from 1998 with over 17,000 miles on them. They were old, bald, and hard. They would not grip at all. These are great. Just my 2 cents.

I'd been wondering how much of a difference it would be to slap some new rubber on.... I have some old P-Zeros that are wearing down... feels like I'm ridding on ice.... good info... I think I may go snag of set of Pilots.

Did you get your new rubber match balanced? If not, I highly recommend it. You will notice yet another huge difference!! :2tu: :2tu: :2tu:

What do you mean by matching? I mounted these and balanced these myself. The only thing I can think of is when you find the heavy spot in the rim and tire and match them up. No idea. Let me know.

I had the local Northwest Tire performance balance the new tires on my '95 last year. I can let go of the steering wheel and it will go straight forever!
