What color should these bolts be? Pic included.

Not a picture of my car, but these are the bolts I am referring to.... I have a '98 GTS Silver/Blue if that makes a difference (probably not). Seems they were originally flat black, but hard to tell since these bolts are starting to show there age. I'm thinking removal + wire brush + spray (rustoleam) should do the trick. Open to other suggestions....

P.S. - Yeah, I'm bored. But every time I wash the car and clean the bottom of the rear facia these lack luster bolts bug me....

I changed all mine for button head SS allen bolts.....

I pulled mine out and sprayed them flat black.
They looked like originally being black...

the orig plating was called black phosphate i think. flat black will look the same.

Yes, originally black. I changed my fronts and rears to Stainless Steel bolts and zinc plated washers for under $10, looks sharp.

Mine are all rusted as well. I am going to need to change them out for all SS ones soon....it just annoys me with how they look now.
