What Happened To My Cluch ???

I have had my 02 sitting in my garage for about 3 weeks. got in to pick up my 12 year old from school and i had to go to the floor to get it in gear. opened the hood and the 3dot was gone from the cup. none on the floor none around the bell housing. don't know what happened. any ideas

how many miles on your car? your slave cylinder may have gone bad or you have a leak somewhere.

you could try filling up the cylinder again and see what happens. maybe you have a small leak and didnt know it and just ran the cup dry?

hopefully someone can chime in and tell us how to bleed the system properly, or just do a search. the info is out there somewhere i am sure.

Thanks for the help. I have a bottle of dot 3 in my shop. Can't hurt to fill it up to the line and see what will happen.

The fluid could be still in the bell housing, but I doubt it.

I did the slave on my '01 GTS and every drop in meant a drop out before the repair.

Like Big I said, top it off, pump the fire out of it and see what happens.

Mine would initially go to the floor and then pump up quickly if there was fluid.

That very well could be the answer. There's not a lot of fluid in there to begin with. Open up the inspection area and see if there is fluid in there.
