What happens if your bottom clips are not attached to your airbox?

Went and did my K&N air filter change today to find out I have no bottom clips on my airbox. Do you think I was sucking dirty air into the engine? I hope not.:(

You need to have a certified viper tech remove the heads and check the condition of the cylinder walls immediately.

LOL! I about toppled over and died!


Hey if you PM me your address, I have a few clips I will mail out to you! The clips will fall off due to the engine movement and the airbox being a poor design...plus the clips are help on by a crappy hinge.

When you replace the clips, place them on a hard surface and hit them gently with a hammer to lengthen them just a tad.
