What tool to use to cut about 1/2" Of the wheel studs?

Hey guys, just want to ask what is the best tool to use to cut about 1/2" of the studs. I'm installing the 3/4" adapters but the stock studs are sticking out a bit and hitting on the wheels. Or is it better to go to a shop to cut the studs than doing it by myself. Suggestions and comments are very much appreciated

Be careful, heat can mess with the hardness making them weaker, also balance could be an issue. Replace them with shorter studs if you need to , but I wouldn't cut them.

Agreed, get new shorter ones and press them in....you will definitely degrade the current ones by cutting them down.
