what years did dodge paint the vipers steel grey?

just wondering what years...cause i have a buddy who has one and says it is a 2002...i thought they only made that color for a limited time and i see them all the time in the 2000 year, was that color also avalible in 2002?

Only 2000. It's a one year colour. The 2002 Grey is called Graphite Grey, also a one year colour.

his must be the graphite then...i just thought he was crazy!!!the colors do look a lot alike though!!!
