From what i gathered, there may be, some day, perhaps, if all goes well, some parts that will allow the 2008 Viper to reach 675hp.

BFD. Wow, they might make some aftermarket parts some day to modify the Viper.

Did people really think this was something so special?

It was only special in that DC FINALLY joined the PR game that GM has been playing for the last 2-3 years. As for what it means to most of us... NADA - for now. I would have preferred that they delivered the 675 as is. Although as a Viper fanatic, you have to appreciate it for what it is.
