M&H, Mickey Thompson and BFG all offer a 18 X 345 drag radial. Has anyone actually been able to compare the performance between the brands - any pros and cons?

I have had the BFG and the Mickey Thompsons. The MT's have no problems hooking. I get absolutely no wheel spin and I have been able to get 1.3 60' times.

Even though I love my 19's, sometimes I wish I had 18's to run the m/t drag radial. It is about 28" tall and fits the car perfectly

I am number 5 in the turbocharged spot and that is from last year times are faster now.
If those are your only choices in that size range go with mickey's I run the hoosier but now mickey's have a new radial tire compound out but I would be they are only making it it tne 275 tire size we run.

Hoosier drag radials have been stickier and more consistent in my past experiences. However, the 1"+ larger OD of the 18" M/T will likely push me in that direction for this car. The M/T drag radials are certainly great in their own right. The Hoosiers do give up what limited amount of daily driver tolerance the M/T and M&G have.

I had a set of 17" M&H on my Cobra, but had to pull them back off as the 28" OD and particular wheel offest combined to create a rubbing issue. I know folks that have had great results with them and M&H is a great company to deal with. All three of these options are leaps and bounds better than the BFG.

You just had to post that data - I cancelled the Hoosiers and ordered the MT's. Summit has them in stock, the Hoosiers were on back order.

I think you bought the old mickey not the new one.
The new one only has a few lines in it and they are only about 2 inches long

What is the MT part # for the new tire. I only see one style of 345 X 35 X 18?
