Why does the Viper site always have a \"pause\" as it goes to the new server?

I thought this was a temporary thing. It's slightly annoying to have to wait to be routed to the new server. Is this permanemt?

Or you can set a shortcut with:
http://vca1.viperclub.org/cgi-bin/ubb-cgi/active.cgi

that will give you a glance at the most recent posts
