I think that you are all misconstruing what I said or what I was advocating when I proposed a different direction to the moribund SRT group. I am now moderated on here now, so it is not worth responding to most of the vitriolic attacks on me here while I am emasculated in my views, and able to respond in kind by the misguided few who feel their views are the only valid views on here and that they MUST be listened too. I used examples, that is all etc.

I think the best example I could give at the moment would be the new Aston concept....I know, I know, all the haters on here who want cart (leaf) springs on the rear of there Vipers are going to attack Leno now, but at least he does have access to do direct comparisons.

Again, this is just a general example.

Also on this topic - Advertising. I don't know why SRT cannot match Porsche in there Add and Marketing, except my experience with the marketing group, even handing them 2 programs (companies) wishing to spend money with them, and they could not even be bothered to get back to me.

This is also interesting. You may not need to wory about Viper according to Mr. Lorenzo.

Rants...

Go at it all you "old" Viper owners who really are Viper Trolls in disguise.

Here is an interesting article from the Detroit Free Press titled "Viper loses its venom as the 2014 Corvette revs" that was just published:

http://www.freep.com/article/20131028/BUSINESS0103/310280032/Chrysler-Viper-Chevrolet-Corvette

It also states "only 426 have been sold, less than one-tenth the year-to-date sales of the Corvette. Even Tesla’s all-electric Model S, which is in a similar price range as the $100,000 Viper, sold 1,950 in September alone."

"Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson did not comment on the reasons behind a delayed launch" (Silence is not always golden, Chrysler)

"I don’t think we advertised the car enough,” said Chuck Eddy, a dealer near Youngstown, Ohio, and vice chairman of Chrysler’s national dealer council. “We have a very hot specialty car, and we should utilize it a little bit more in our marketing." (Yes, exactly. Is Chrysler listening??)

MRC was available on later Z06 if I recall? Most likely new Chinese Delphi owners came up with improvements? I am sure if Mr. Pobst complained, it had something to do with the original Goodyear run flats, still surprised Michelin Sport Cups are not on new Viper after Mr. Gilles blamed the first defeat on inferior tires?:)

So, you're admitting GM's tire swap did make a difference? FIAT has a deal with Pirelli, that's why they are on the Viper.
