Have you ever wondered what happens to your car when it is in the shop and you are not there? I am thinking about creating a new device, about the size of a match box, which records the speed your car is driven. The device will have a port to connect to a PC so you can see what the guys at the shop are doing with your car. The device would sell for about $99. Would there be any interest in such a device?

If I create something like this, I'll do it for Gen2 cars first, then Gen1 and Gen3 shortly after? Any thoughts or comments?

If this wasn't model specific I would say that you could have something on your hands. If I could use it for every car that I had, maybe. But most car guys have a wrench that they trust and if your car is iu the shop that much, you have bigger problems to worry about.

Or, you can buy an inexpensive Garmin 205 GPS and store it in the trunk, glove compartment It will log not only how fast the car went, but where it was driven.
