Would you be hesitant to buy this \'04 SRT Viper in Ohio?

Vehicle built 12/18/2003 and placed in service 02/14/2004

Camshaft Sprocket Bolt Recall work performed 04/16/2004 at 1,992 miles by Buhler Dodge.

7/70 warranty is transferrable per Daimler Chrysler ("DC") Data Base

All 4 tires are Michelin Pilots with 85% tread remaining.

All (4) wheels have been refinished by Daimler Chrysler. (seems unusual)

Selling dealer's Viper Technician found no accident damage or evidence
of body work or repainting.

The car was owned by a New Jersey resident from 02/14/04 to 06/16/2005.

Ohio Dodge dealer purchased the vehicle 07/07/2005 at a Chrysler Dealer
Auction with 11,011 miles on the vehicle. (seems strange to go from private individual to Chrysler auction as opposed to a Manheim type auction - doubt car was on a 1 year lease with Chrysler)

The car has the boot for the convertible top and a car cover.

Selling dealer says there is no record in DC database that this was a manufacturer buy back

No; looks like all the homework was done and the paperwork is clean. The good thing about the 11,000 miles (still low) is that it didn't spend too much time in the garage. It was enjoyed enough to where the former owner looked forward to driving it.

If you are talking about the Black 04 on ebay with Progressive Dodge It was listed about 45 days ago and bought on a "buy it now" for 60,000 - 61,000
I would ask why the buyer didn't go through with it.

That would be the car - I was told the buyer was from Chicago and did not want to wait the 30 days for the wheels to be refinished by DC - I will see if I can track down that buyer though - thanks

Typically if there is an accident, the wheels damaged would be replaced. If there was curb rash then only 2 wheels would need fixing not all 4.
