    Wanted - DRB III

I've got this one, including the cable that connects to the data port on the Gen 1 Viper: https://www.ebay.com/itm/373989993463 I used it one time only to check my '94's vitals. Willing now to part with it for the right price. It's in great condition -- all manuals, CDs, data cards, leather...

    Wanted: Gen 1 Cassette Radio

Because I have NO idea how much the cassette deck is worth, I created an eBay auction for it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/267149301441 Hope I'm not breaching forum rules or etiquette by posting an eBay link here, but I just figured an auction was the best way to get a fair price for the deck.

    Wanted: Gen 1 Cassette Radio

Finally found the original AM/FM-Cassette deck pulled from my 1994 in late 1995, maybe 1996. It was working fine when I had it yanked in favor a the hot new format at the time -- MiniDisc. Anyway, here are some photos of a lightly-used Mopar part number 4643021 that I'm willing to part with...

    Odd Battery Behavior

Got it fully charged with the Battery Tender and took it to Autozone for the free test. Bad battery. Still unclear to me why it seemed stronger when the motor was cold, but I'll just have to live with the mystery. Thanks to all who replied.

    Odd Battery Behavior

When my '94 is cold, she starts up fine -- battery feels/sounds strong, like new. But if the car is warm -- say sitting in a parking lot for an hour -- the car struggles to start with what sounds like a weak battery. It is able to turn over the motor once or twice, but it barely catches and...

Gen 1 Overflow tank flushing/system bleeding

I am about to replace the OEM hoses on my '94 with the silicone kind. Would you mind elaborating on "another level of care and 'adjustments'?"

Who Made These Radiator Air-Bleeder Valves?

Several years back I bought these two bleeder valves that make burping the coolant system on my Gen 1 much easier. One installs in a hose at the high point of the system on the passenger side, and the other on the driver side near the power steering fluid reservoir. Unfortunately I discarded...

    New Gen 1 Owner 1993 RT/10! Smog

I replaced the stock accordion-style intake tubes on my '94 with the "smooth tubes" and they wouldn't pass me because they did not have a "CARB ID" on them. My solution was to move out of California.

Gen 1 Questions (fog lights and parts)

Good questions about the bulbs. The original headlight bulbs and fog light bulbs on my '94 are still working, but I know they won't last forever and would be interested in replacing the headlights with high intensity bulbs if they are available for the Gen 1.

Sourcing Obsolete Parts For Gen I and Gen II Vipers

Gen 1 driver's side door pull/handle (have also seen this described as "door latch remote control"). Not sure of the part number. Mine is still working to open the door, but the spring that pulls the handle back into its recessed position gave out. Passenger side is available from a few...

    Best Gen1 Top-Window Combination?

My '94 RT/10 is stuck in the past. I got a free black Mopar factory hard-top when I signed up for VOI 2. It's a pain in the neck to install/remove, but it still works fine. I also have a pair of sliding glass windows made by a company called Northwind Engineering that I purchased in 1995 for...

    viper mechanic new orleans

Mike at Prestige Auto Works in Slidell does the "super performance mods" you're not looking for, but I was happy with the basic maintenance/repairs he did on my '94. 985-259-4727
