    The 96 manual firing order is in correct/ Because the Viper uses "wasted spark" it is possible to have one showing a misfire. I assume when everything was put together you used the Champ 438 plugs and new wires? Did you use new coil packs too?

    I think if you have a serial port it might be a Vec3, but yes if you can hook up to your computer, you should be able to download and read thru the tune. Before hooking up, I would definitely get a compatible smart card and load it on directly from the Vec. Just in case something happens.

    you will need to get a few smart cards and reader. You can pull the tune off/out of the Vec, but I don't think it would be transferable to a SCT or HP Tuners setup if that's what you are looking for. The Vec was a great way to tune back in the day, still is the only way to adjust the fuel...
