I have owned more than 30 salvaged Vipers and I would say 50 salvage cars all together. I have had many salvage vipers on the track.
I have a Viper that was salvage by the insurance co that only needed a headlight and some hood repair. No frame damage and still the original front bumper...
I think if you change your fluid then you should not have a problem. Mine when I took the antifreeze out it was original and very rusty and bad.. Just change it before it goes bad and that should help them last a long time.
You can look at the side of the block. You can see marks that look wet on the side if they are bad. They will not leak on the ground but do make marks on the block...
The deapest sound will come from a set of mild steel headers vs stainless. Our M&M Performance headers along with the Belanger are Steel. We also produce a side exhaust that has a very nice deep tone but it is not as loud as the Corsa...

Do not put a larger fuse in it. Do you have headers? Some manufactures run o2 wires along side the exaust that melt and short out. Take the heat shields off and inspect your secondary o2 wires.
