Vibration between 1000 rpm and 1800 rpm

I think the car runs and drive good and I don't hear any other noise. I have had it up on the lift and can't find any issue. If it not the balancer, seems like it might be something associated with the throw-out bearing...

Vibration between 1000 rpm and 1800 rpm

Steve, thanks. Interesting. I imagine if that were the case (the lifters had turned) it would eat the thing up real fast. The car runs very well and I just replaced the spark plugs. The looked remarkably well, considering, they did look like the car has been driven most of its 18k miles a low...

Vibration between 1000 rpm and 1800 rpm

Woah, you went right to the worst case...no metal in the oil. I did, however, check the balancer, and it seems to be perfectly fine. I'm now thinking it may be mariginally misfiring at that rpm range. I check my spark plugs and they seem to be burning fine, but some decent carbon build up. They...

Vibration between 1000 rpm and 1800 rpm

I've notice my car (2008) has a vibration between 1000-1800 rpm. I notice it when with the clutch pushed in or with it out (but not in gear). When I drive off or on the throttle I can't tell if its there or not.... The balancer looks fine while its static, but I did not take a look at it while...

New Battery and now I have no power

Migsot, Check the battery to see if it will take a charge. If it's been marked (when purchased) it will show the date. It might be very old. If you can't check it take it to Autozone or some place like that.

How do I get a feel for a Viper before I commit to buying?

Gramobda, I know this isn't what you are asking, beyond driving a friends car or driving the car you intend to purchase, I do not know how you'd get the feel of driving one (realistically). However, I do have some related points. I bought a '08 coupe a few months ago. It was relatively low...

    window regulator repair

An update. I got the re-enforced window track/regulator back within a total of 4 days, sending it to them, then the repair and them sending it back. Put the thing in and all is fine. So, the problem is fixed. Thanks to all who provided advice.

    window regulator repair

ok. It is $375.00 for the repair. It is overpriced, but one other good point is it has a "lifetime" warranty.

    window regulator repair

GooglesP, It cost me $29 to ship it UPS, but I am only 3hrs 15 minutes away from their facility in Phoenix AZ. From FL, you'll have to go to the UPS site to calculate. I needed a 30" x 24" x 5" box at about 8-9 pounds. Send to these folks: Power Window Repair Rebuild & Return Services 2439 E...

    window regulator repair

After talking to these folks [email protected] I have decided to send it to them (2 day turn around). You can see they modify the original to make it more sturdy and just as functional.

    window regulator repair

Ok, I am finally back to this. Removed the window regulator assy. yesterday. Hardest part (to me) was moving it from inside the door to the outside. The instructions at Havik Performance were very good...

    window regulator repair

MoparMap, The "kit" is to repair a failing regulator (at least that is the way I understand it). Here is what I purchased: https://www.theviperstore.com/Viper3_Products_Parts&Upgrades_Replacement_Parts_Mechanical.htm See the second item from the top of the page: ACC-971018 Dodge Viper SRT10...

    window regulator repair

Folks, I am going to try to repair my driver's side window with "The Viper Store" kit (Dodge Viper SRT10 (2003-17) Door Window Regulator Repair Kit). I have looked at the Havik Performance video on You tube. It seems like a tedious but "do-able" repair. Looks like the clips at the top of the...

Finally finished my Stereo Head Unit installation (Pioneer DMH-WT5000NEX floating screen).

Aftermarket Stereo Head Unit integrated into the '08 stock system

Ok folks. This is just to follow up with the solution (it was simple, but I couldn't see it at first). Through some more searching, I got it working great. I will try to explain what I was missing (though I am sure many folks will say "ah, that's elementary). The Metra 70-6502 wiring harness...

Just an update, even though no one responded. I found the information I needed in the Viper Registry. Black and Medium Slate are the colors I was looking for.

    2008 Interior Color

I have a 2008 Coupe that's black. It has grey in the center sections of each seat. I am looking for an OEM replacement seat cover. However the listings/inventories show Quartz and Medium Slate (both Grey). Some even show Medium Quartz as an overall reference to the seat with Black/Medium Slate...

    MAF sensor connector

MoparMap, thanks. As you probably know, I didn't have to even take the metal terminals off. I was able to take the Aptiv connector apart and replace it with new one. It's pretty simple. However, I have had to crimp those before and have a crimper that work correctly. At least I have a source for...
