Thanks for the input Steve. Fortunately everything else works properly. I'm curious if anyone has taken one of these apart and tried to reverse engineer the part that makes the horn work. I believe the air bag horn combo must have a week link, in the part that allows you to engage the horn.
Thanks for the reply Pizano, In my case the horn has stopped blowing as some have described you can't actually make it sound no matter how hard you press the center of the pad. It still works on other requests like the alarm, locking and unlocking etc.
Has anyone made any progress on this steering wheel air bag-horn problem? I've been looking around to purchase a new or used unit, they just aren't available. Its seems they post a price ($1300) however none available. Just wondering if anyone has tried to figure out why the horn pad part of...
Thanks Steve, Electronic throttle control relearn is what I was looking for. I've been waiting to install the off road PCM I purchased several years ago. My warrantee is about to run out so now would be a good time to do the install. I guess I'll need to find a dealer to do the throttle relearn.
The Viper-Trackhawk combo is a hard one to beat. I have the 2018 Hawk that was purchased new and 2013 GTS also purchased new. Several times I've had people approach me to purchase the Trackhawk and of course I declined. As Dan pointed out both are great and have their own way of using the power.
I've installed the Jon B's high flow Ceramic cats 2 1/2" made by Belanger about 3 years ago with great success. My set up is stock headers and mufflers. The sills are way cooler to the touch and the sound was greatly improved. Since you have the Belanger headers and mufflers why not give them a...
I would like to add some additional info on this topic. Steve has explained how this thing works better than any other explanation I've heard, and I'm sure its also very accurate. My personal experience with this device has been very rewarding. I enjoy driving the car much more now. I've tried a...

These are for Chrysler 2011 and on. I've used these on my GenV and they are the exact replacement.
Congratulations on both cars and choice of Spouse.. sounds like you have made some great decisions in life and yes changing that oil would be another one.
Anything new one this post? thinking about adding this kit to my 2013 GTS 12 speaker setup. Does anyone know if the amp on the factory install for the 12 & 18 speaker system is the same? On the harman Kardon site it talks about a 900 watt amp.
Pete, this is the type of feedback I was looking for. I believe you are correct on this, I've been having the same experience. I will say its very easy to use and can do the whole car in a short time. But does not hold up to washing very long..
I've had the Viper out a couple of times now that the temp is a little warmer, and NO wheel hop with traction control on or off. I guess the colder temps and the stock tires don't like the cold air. Thanks for all the info and posts.
Real nice pictures, looks like you keep your rides clean. What wax did you use on the Viper? I've used Mothers California Gold Synthetic Wax for my first wax job. So far seems to be good. Not sure how it will hold up to a couple of washings.
Oh yea, I hear you on the"more than powerful enough stock" My 2013 GTS is a really amazing to drive. The ESC and TCS systems are very functional. I only have 1300 miles on car and need to have a better handle on these systems and the effect they have.
Gregnice I have a GTS with traction control and experienced the wheel hop with the system on. I'm going to try TRH1962 suggestion and try with the system off. Also 9Ball suggested to trying rolling on the throttle a little slower. As soon as the weather gets a little better here I'll give it a...
