i believe that was the stock wheel on ta2. if so i have a set of matte black and black chrome wheels. i have used them on the track a few times on my ta2 but i don’t think they are beat up i would have to look closely at them. where are you located??
yup, i have raced mine a year and all the boots are shot....i just remove the rubber when it gets in the way, don't plan on replacing them...seems to be a stock part not really needed on the race machine but too much trouble to remove it....backs do run a bit hot, i can see this on the wheels...
has anybody got a feel yet for how the new hoosier tire compares to the previous comp coupe hoosiers in terms of useable heat cycles, how about the fall off rate for traction?? i know this is driver and track dependant but any general opinions based on experience??
thanks for the info bob...the offsets 9" and 10" i was using was of the inner wheel rim only not entire width of the rim...consensus of folks seems to be the new hoosiers will work fine with the current bbs wheel setup!!
i have heard mixed messages on whether or not you need to change the inner rims on rear bbs wheels from 10" offset to 9" offset with the newly spec'ed vrl tires.....i would like to avoid this expense if possible....any advice from folks who have run the smaller rear tires or suggestions from...
i had the top of my fuel cell off this week and noticed that the fill neck on the cell that connects to the fuel door does not have a cage and ball or any obvious way to stop fuel flow in the case of an upside down excursion...the vent has a mechanism that stops fuel flow in this case but it...
i have also ask eric p. to ask the dodge engineering team to reissue the suggested alignment setup with the new tire specs if it is different. i have heard that you need to replace the 10" rear inner rims with 9" inner rims...the list goes on and it is really late to be making these type of...
what are folks doing in terms of air jack lubrication...is there any routine maintenance required??...mine seem to stick just a bit and i was told to put some air tool oil in where the air wand attaches and blow the oil into the system....
i got mine on the drivers side at first track event back in april...if you get a replacement you can adjust the bolts where it attaches at the rear wheel wheel to adjust the plastic piece up....carefully positioned tie strap helps as well...i riveted a piece of thin aluminum over the hole and...
Re: What\'s the problem at TMS?
general lee here,
i own the dukes viper, as ed said the track was very cold and damp and of course we currently don't run rain tires...the comp coupe hoosiers take even longer than dot's to come in, i really liked the track considering it was a road course in a...
i have yet to speak to anyone whose air jack wand did not leak...mine has a significant leak at the slip joint when under pressure...has anybody found a solution or alternative here, i am tired of blowing nitrogen at 275psi...i know call me cheap but it really adds up over time!!!
