i had the top of my fuel cell off this week and noticed that the fill neck on the cell that connects to the fuel door does not have a cage and ball or any obvious way to stop fuel flow in the case of an upside down excursion...the vent has a mechanism that stops fuel flow in this case but it seems lots more fuel would simply run out of the fill neck?? i doubt the cap is that fuel tight and forbid that the hose between them was ripped off or damaged....just wondering if i missed something??? if not does anyone know if they make a filler neck with a cage and ball or some other mechanism that would bolt directly in place of the current one??? hopefully, i would never need to worry about this but that's what safety equipment is all about...just in case!!!

just spoke to matt, it turns out there is a rubber "flapper" to prevent the fuel from coming out the fill neck...
