    Rear Brake calipers

yup, i have raced mine a year and all the boots are shot....i just remove the rubber when it gets in the way, don't plan on replacing them...seems to be a stock part not really needed on the race machine but too much trouble to remove it....backs do run a bit hot, i can see this on the wheels...

heat cycles on new cc tires

has anybody got a feel yet for how the new hoosier tire compares to the previous comp coupe hoosiers in terms of useable heat cycles, how about the fall off rate for traction?? i know this is driver and track dependant but any general opinions based on experience??

    bbs offsets

thanks for the info bob...the offsets 9" and 10" i was using was of the inner wheel rim only not entire width of the rim...consensus of folks seems to be the new hoosiers will work fine with the current bbs wheel setup!!

    bbs offsets

i have heard mixed messages on whether or not you need to change the inner rims on rear bbs wheels from 10" offset to 9" offset with the newly spec'ed vrl tires.....i would like to avoid this expense if possible....any advice from folks who have run the smaller rear tires or suggestions from...

    fuel cell

i had the top of my fuel cell off this week and noticed that the fill neck on the cell that connects to the fuel door does not have a cage and ball or any obvious way to stop fuel flow in the case of an upside down excursion...the vent has a mechanism that stops fuel flow in this case but it...

    New CC tires

i have also ask eric p. to ask the dodge engineering team to reissue the suggested alignment setup with the new tire specs if it is different. i have heard that you need to replace the 10" rear inner rims with 9" inner rims...the list goes on and it is really late to be making these type of...

Large Hole Above Wheel Well... Tom Francis?

i got mine on the drivers side at first track event back in april...if you get a replacement you can adjust the bolts where it attaches at the rear wheel wheel to adjust the plastic piece up....carefully positioned tie strap helps as well...i riveted a piece of thin aluminum over the hole and...

    What's the problem at TMS?

Re: What\'s the problem at TMS? general lee here, i own the dukes viper, as ed said the track was very cold and damp and of course we currently don't run rain tires...the comp coupe hoosiers take even longer than dot's to come in, i really liked the track considering it was a road course in a...

    air jack wand

i have yet to speak to anyone whose air jack wand did not leak...mine has a significant leak at the slip joint when under pressure...has anybody found a solution or alternative here, i am tired of blowing nitrogen at 275psi...i know call me cheap but it really adds up over time!!!

    Pressure brake bleeding

frank, on my 93 rt and 00 acr i always used the universal cap with chain and it worked great, unfortunately with comp coupe the cross brace prevents the use of the "larger" universal cap so i have been bleeding the regular old way while my pressure bleeder sits on the shelf....

    FISHING FOR TIRES

guys, i have no experience with the toyo's but i find the hoosiers really good for about 5 heat cycles, falling off on cycle 6 and 7 and everything above 8 cycles best be practice. i know tire wear differs greatly depending on lots of things including set up and driver but for me this has been...

    Cone's brake ducting kit

Re: Cone\'s brake ducting kit I put one on my 00 ACR. In fact, i know Henry real well and i was the test moron for the directions!! I was very happy with the kit and the instructions are great for step by step directions. It looks a bit scary to pull off the fascia but it is really pretty...

i got used ones that archer racing had on ebay CHEAP (thanks to henry cone for finding them)! if ya get them from dodge they are about 150-175 each!! I have tnt headers and with a little work with the rubber hammer and crow bar, they now fit nicely. I actually used 2 right (passenger side)...

    TNT headers

i put them on my 00acr w/high flo cats and catbacks, all tnt, also a vec1 and gained about 25 hp on the dyno (hp-411 to 435, tq-458 to 477)....i wouldn't expect more with a 00...big throttle response feel difference but you will get the o2 heater failure engine light problem, i have still not...

Snapped off a lugnut, need advise...

i replaced the drivers side rear wheel stud on my acr about 2 months ago..believe it or not it was stripped from the factory!! you have to be careful not to hammer very hard on the stud (which is typical way to do it) because it can damage the rear bearing assembly...says so right in the...

    Check Engine Light(temporary solution)

yep i got the same problem on my 01 acr with tnt headers..the code you stated is a header caused code not to be confused with the code ya get if ya remove the cats...it has everything to do with the time it takes the o2 sensor to heat up (as indicated by voltage returned) against what the pcm is...
