THats awesome :lmao:
My favorite was when one guy asked me what my Viper GTS gas mileage was like. I told him it was a hybrid/flex fuel car and used pump gas as well as high octane fuel. He was like "oh ok. That's cool.. " thumbs up and off he went.
Who is that? Blk1, is that you? :rolaugh:
Most of my buds at DC are real car guys and enthusiasts, and they were happy I bought a Viper. I do love em.
My beef is with the teens and nuts that own a Vette without understanding car camaraderie.
Actually a few Harley riders have nodded to me when passing. It's just the Vette owners that seem to have a bone to pick. Notice I said owners, not enthusiasts.
Funny, now that I think about it, he might probably be posting up on some vette forum somewhere that he smoked a Viper.. and probably has pics of the rear of my car.. :)
.. and that's sad, because I am a 3 time vette owner and enthusiast and I still own a 70 stingray. I just love cars, all of em.
Just seems like every time I take my viper out for a drive, I manage to run into a corvette owner who doesn't want to say hi or be nice, or just gets hostile.. ***...
The problem is that there is a drain on your battery somewhere and till you locate the bad ground/drain, you'll be at its mercy..
Here is your solution: Costs just $10 if you can handle that.
Get a battery disconnect switch installed. It is cheap, it works.
I have one on my vette, my porsche...
San Diego to San Francisco. Gave it a good wash, it was fine..
I dont understand the open/closed trailer thing.. open trailer is no different than taking it for a drive on the highway, but no miles added :)
sure there are bugs and dust etc, but these are cars, not sticks of butter..
