There was never any doubt that Chrysler would go into bankruptcy and the government knew it. Getting the taxpayers on the hook was just a way to give the government leverage when it came to the actual proceedings and, I must say, elicit responses such as yours to cover their crime. Terrible. We would have been much better off if Chrysler had gone into bankruptcy without a dime of taxpayer money (it wouldn't have been chapter 7). These creditors are entitled BY LAW to $1.00 on the dollar. They didn't get greedy, they were simply following what the law stipulates in these...- fluffy

2.99% here... all online sales. I actually went and double checked when I heard 5%. In the end only about 5% of our sales are AmEx so it doesn't really impact margins all that much verses V/MC.- fluffy

08 Viper vs Vette comparison
Works fine on my Mac (using Safari 3.1). You just have to make sure Silverlight is installed: Microsoft Silverlight: Light Up the Web Interestingly enough, Safari on the Mac is the only browser I tried that would actually play it all the way through. My Windows box (XP and Vista) crapped...- fluffy

ACR in Top Gear magazine
Even more annoyingly, they didn't put (W) beside the time and have apparently forgotten about it. On more than one occasion they've had some other sports car on a bone dry track run a little faster, and have commented on how it was faster than the Viper.- fluffy

Any 6''3 Viper owners?
6'3", 180lbs. 1" seat lowering kit installed and it's perfect. Pedals are a little bit close even at full extension but I have long legs so you may be better or worse.- fluffy

My Viper is a 5 speed....
6th is usable from about 45mph. I use it all the time starting at about 50.- fluffy

You should be able to find an '03 for right around $50k with some searching. There's a low mileage silver '03 in the VCA classifieds for $50k, and a black '03 for $56k with a few mods, including motons! You shouldn't have any problem finding something.- fluffy
