I have noticed that the Canadian prices for gen IV's have gone up approximately 10% over last year, but I think this is more of a recession recovery price increase rather than a new model price spike.

Wouldn't this be enough to trick the pcm, or do you feel that this would just be a temporary solution also?
Do you think gutting the first set of cats and keeping the original secondary cats in place with the ACRX headers would be feasible?
I don't know how much difference there would be in horsepower, but it sounds like it might be worth a try!

The mopar PCM removes the exhaust crackle, as the engineers wanted better efficiency. You need to go back to the factory programming if you want to hear the crackle.

If you can hear clicking from the rear end, it almost always means that you need to add a bottle of friction modifier (also called slip lock additive). Once you add the friction modifier, go to an open parking lot and do a couple of figure eights. This will cure the sticking clutch packs.
GenIV coupe will top out at 208 mph vert top end is 187 mph.
A genIII is going to need headers, ported intake, a cam, and a tune to get te same power as a genIV. The advantage with a genIII is you can do forced induction and have way more power than a genIV.
