    You got it! I needed a little lifting help to get the tranny mount into place and get the bolts in. I didnt have a tranny jack so I used what I had.     Yes, that was a little crazy, but the oilpan is pretty big and flat so it didnt wobbly around. My engine stand wouldnt hold it, so the toolbox it was.

    After more thought, altering these wheels probably wont suite me. However $500 for the set seems off. One can't even buy half of one new wheel for that. I'd as soon melt them down into some very nice coasters. :headbang:

    I am pulling the tranny from a 97 GTS. Are the 6 bolts in the picture the only ones that hold the engine and tranny together? I have the bolts out but the tranny still seems firmly attached to the engine. By the way, the tranny mount is removed as well as the driveshaft. ;) Thanks

    He had a shop pull the oil pan and quoted me that two rods were "broken", so I expected carnage. The engine will still be pulled and fully gone over. The crank will need turned and everything else inspected as well as repairing or replacing the rods.
