Return vs. Returnless Fuel System Pro's and Cons
Could always add a cooler on the return..... When you get into multiple pumps or higher pressure you almost have to have a return style.. Think of it this way, you are in a boosted car, 2-3pumps are running to keep the pressure at 65psi (or whatever) for the 150lbs injectors and 30psi of boost...- Tom86ZT

Remember its not that they aren't forged pistons in 00-02 (they are a form of forged piston, they are the hypereutectic sp? piston....fyi, Stock MK4 supra's have hypereutectic pistons and they can make about 1000whp with only 6).. how much for a clutch??
Dealer books clutch at like 9 hours (at least on Gen1/2's).... If you have a 3-3.5ft extension for you socket set (impact tools I hope) you can have the trans down in about an hour. Tom- Tom86ZT

Gen III & IV Values Once 2013 is out?
Thankfully the market these cars are in, always draws a large number of "I need to have the new one" type of folks.... gen 2 stock intake design question....
Lee, Vaguely remember them being completely seperate runners (as you described). Someone had a pic way back when of a intake mani cut right down the middle. Quick test would be to block one end of runners, fill those runner with a fluid through their throttle body, and see if it goes into...- Tom86ZT

Good point. In most cases (I'd assume Gen IV's as well) this is still a "piggy back" system. That is due to EVERYTHING being run of factory ECU (i.e. HVAC, Window motors, door locks, dash, radio, lights, etc). So the factory ecu runs all that jazz while the aftermarket handles the important...- Tom86ZT

Can you hardwire it in at least? Plug and play means they have a harness built. If they have a tune to at least start from thats half the battle. Any one using a Pro EFI cpu?
Ran a pro-efi 48 on a built infiniti G35 coupe TT (650rwhp on 93 octane, 800+rwhp on 110leaded...never used good gas). Car drove like stock, started like stock, no hickups. Pre 2000 Vipers, You are now FLAKIES in my book!
They are not CAST pistons...They are Hypereutectic (sp?). for reference, SUPRA's run hypereutectic pistons stock and they can make about 1000rwhp on them. the problem is the amount of space between the top of the piston and the rings........It is too short a distance on the creampuffs for high...- Tom86ZT

Has anyone installed 2003+ Intake on Gen II Motor

What is the top speed of our Vipers?
They f'd up that motor pretty bad. Trying to get some money out of them but we all know how that goes........ I was in PC's supercharged car at 200+ and it was still pulling HARD. This was the setup that did the 194mph (i think it was 194) in the mile.- Tom86ZT
