A/C parts
Just some follow-up. I bought the Ready-Aire evaporator core for about $150 shipped (as opposed to $700++ for the factory part) and had it installed today. A/C works great, and my tech says the replacement part looked to be of the same quality as the original. Can you say "Viper Tax"?- watersnake

I'll have to give Chuck a call during business hours tomorrow. I think Tator would be about the only thing that would make me want to live in NY! I don't even bother going to the local Dodge dealer for my minivan, much less the Viper--no Viper certified tech on board.- watersnake

Does anyone know if a dealer can pull a car's service history at any Dodge dealer nationwide by using the car's VIN? I don't have a lot of info on my car's history prior to my purchase two years ago. It does look like it had the 998 recall done, but I'd like to confirm that, and any other info...- watersnake

Best tips for Storing a viper...
My suggestion for winter storage is to move down to my neck of the woods where you can drive it year-round-- and usually *******. You might occasionally get a tad chilly with the top off.- watersnake

Just got an estimate for A/C repairs-- need an evaporator core, expansion valve, and drier. Hardtop that fits in the trunk! Pics..
I currently have an Autoform top that looks great, but drives me nuts with rattles I can't eliminate (mostly from the rear scissor latches). How is your top doing in the noise department?- watersnake
