I have a 2000 ACR with comfort group. My ac compressor is out. I've been told I need a Nippendenso 10PA15C. I just happen to have a new in the box Nippendenso 10PA17C. Will it work? A buddy told me it will. It has the correct pully etc. He's an AC guy and said something about the 17 has more...
Check out these video of a 6.2L V8 Viper raced by Peter Zakowski at the 24 hours of Nurburgring. The Pre-race video shows the car and talks with the owner. The Race Highlights clips is a 3 minute clip I created of just the Viper from the 24 hours of Nurburgring.

Watching Rita from Spring Texas. What\'s your plans?
I have two webcams watching hurricane Rita come in from Spring. They are at my house looking out the front window, so it will last as long as I have power!
They are updated every five minutes. Hit your refresh button to see the latest...
It\'s AC repair time, I guess...
I got a 2000 ACR with AC. Bought new in June 2000. Had AC charged at the dealer once in 2002. Not blowing cold again.
My buddy hooked up his guages and said there is nothing on the low side. He said it won't take a charge. He believes the compressor is out...
Hi All, been a while.
I've got a 2000 Viper ACR, all stock, stock full soft shock settings. Haven't been out to autocross in a couple years, but want to get back.
Problem: Last few times I did autocross, I noticed during aggressive turns the rear would hop. I also notice during a quick...
John Myricks 2003 Viper SRT-10 ran an 11.86 @ 122.95 mph on his second pass. All stock and stock tires. San Antonio Raceway Sunday 2-23-03. Check the video of the burnout and 1/4 mile run. John ran an 11.86 @ 122.95. He backed it up with an 11.95. Then I (a good friend:) got in it and ran an...

The Porsche guys tell me that there were some valuable items left behind at the houston autocross Viper Challenge back on Feb 18th. Please check around with those who might have been there to see if anyone is missing anything. They will not say what the items are. You must be able to describe...
Jeff,
Unfortunately Momo is not involved directly with your harnesses. You will be contacted by Chrysler corporation with the official recall notification, or you can contact your local dealer. We suggest you do not use the harnesses until you have them replaced with the revised version...
My office is on the 20th floor in Houston in the Post Oak and San Felipe area. I can't usually hear the traffic from up here. Yesterday I heard a distinct sound and thought 'That sounds like a Viper'. Looked out the window and There it was. Red GTS with white stripes. It probably had some...
I noticed a grabbing noise as I come to a stop in the ACR the other day. It did it a few times. It's that same sound and feeling you get when you're metal on metal. Thing is, I've only got 5000 miles on the car and you can see there is plenty of pad. Rotors don't seem to be scared. The Viper did...
The button on my parking brake rattles/buzzes at certain rpm. Anyone else notice this? I think I might be able to put an o ring around it to stop it. Any others with this and a fix?
Thanks
Jeff
Will the 2003 Viper officially become a Chrysler or remain a Dodge. When I watch Speedvision they usually refer to the Viper as a Chrysler Viper when showing the car positions in a race.
Jeff
I've added some new video clips to my site from recent autocross event and 1/4 mile races.
Check out this 1/4 mile run of 2 identical 2000 ACRs. (1 meg)

Calling all Vipers to the Autocross event this Sunday at the Houston Police Academy... Although this event is called the Porsche/Corvette challenge, any kind of car is invited. Come have some fun and practice so the Vipers can kick a$$ at the Porsche/Viper Challenge on Feb 18th. It's safe and...
Ran an 11.980 at 118.65 at Houston Raceway Friday in my bone stock ACR with stock Michelin Pilots. Not as good as my previous trip to the track which was 11.852 at 119.61. I launched with lots of rpms and had a bad 60' (Proved once again that bogging is better). I did get one heck of an r/t as...
Many people have asked how I launched my stock Viper to get a 11.852 pass so I've reposted my earlier post here along with the video. Watch and listen to the video very close and you can see that it is not necessary to launch at high rpms.
Here is an in car video of my 11.852 run at HRP. You...
Here are some pics of how I mounted my camcorder. Piece of plexiglass velcroed to the carpet. Use the top piece of one of those little 9 inch tripods. No drilling and it's removable. Lets you get shots like these.

Here is an in car video of my 11.852 run tonight at HRP. You can hear me come up to 1200 rpm at launch with a slight bog and then slight wheel spin which resulted in a 1.898 60'

Ran an 11.852 @ 119.61 tonight at Houston Raceway Park. This was only my second trip to the track. My Viper is bone stock including the Pilot tires. I ran 24 lbs in rear and 32 lbs in front. They gave me a bunch of crap about no roll bar and sent me back to tech inspection. Tech said I'll let...
