    I consider the shortblock as the bottom end. Crank Rods Pistons Or I guess we could say the reciprocating assembly.

    I love the 96 GTS with the blue/white paint scheme, now I am in the market to buy one and I plan to supercharge it. I can't remember if the 96 had a forged bottom end or not, I thought it did. Thanx.

    I find that 9.0:1 is a great C.R. for forced induction applications,especially with alum. heads. Your off-boost performance will not suffer and you will make good power when under boost.

    I believe that a Vette hooks up better than a Viper,the 427 TT Vette is rated at 725 HP and it pulls down mid 9's,I see Viper's with over 700 at the tire that can't get out the 10's.

    A Hoss cannot hold a candle to a Busa or a ZX-12R,we ran against Monte Warne who is the owner of Boss Hoss,he brought out a 355 and a 502 Hoss,we had a ZX-12R which spanked both Hosses,but it is still a hard pulling bike,they definitely run better from a roll.
