    there are a few videos floating around- the gen2 and gen3 do have an advantage at lower speeds, but the dense gearing and 8200rpms of the m5 seems to give it advantage at higher speeds... the e60 m5 is also pretty much even with the gallardo... once i break in mine i will know more...

    torque to the ground is what accellerates the car. torque depends on rpms and gearing. the one that puts more tq to the ground at any given moment in the race will be ahead (if everything else (weight, cd, etc. is the same). hp is useful for one thing- to better represent tq at higher rpms...

    .. or we can learn from the people that really know how oil affects their engines- most higher-priced german cars have oil-change indicators. if you beleive those- a normal daily routine (5-10 miles stop-go traffic, 20-40 miles highway driving), 2 cold starts a day results in oil-change...

    Riddle me this.(alarm issues)

    stay in front of the vehicle and press the two buttons until the alarm chirps. this resest and resyncs the alarm with the remotes. other than that- dont know what is going on. are you sure all your alarm switches (hood, doors, trunk) are closed? alex few cars

    its prolly your rearend... most of the time it will whine only on accelleration between 60 and 80ish.. and it does sound like it is coming from the tail of the tranny, but it does in fact come from the rearend... alex few cars

    as per the wizard (my 02 has the same problem on both sides) the whole front facia, headlights and hood hindges are adjustable/shim-able... i have yet to play with mine, but i did some snooping and it looks tedious, but doable...will share some detail when i get the time to do mine... alex few cars

    hopefully i will be taking mine out this weekend... i consider the drill of firing it up every week for 10-15 minutes in the garage during the winter a special type of cruel and unusual torture :( the car needs to be driven... it winks at me every time i walk by... alex 02 gts few cars

    are going up? must be a spring thing... i remember looking at 01 and 02 pricing and some could be had for 50k with less then 10k miles. those deals now are non-existent and the majority of folks are asking mid 50s... not bad for a car that is not in production any more... alex 02 gts few...
