    battery check

    valve cover torque

    FYI.....Decided to torque down the valve covers on both the 94 and the 97. Surprising how many bolts were loose. Use the star wrench instead of a socket, a lot easier. The torque setting in the manuals were the same for both years, 95 inch pounds. :dunno:

    Winning noise

    A friend of mine in the Tampa area has a 94r/t 10. Claims he hears a high pitch winning noise in the rear area at about 65 mph. Says it doesn't seam to be a bearing type noise. Any suggestions? Rear end does have the proper lubricant installed.

    Clicking noise

    dip stick tube

    94 rt 10 Doing some engine work...Does anyone know how to remove the dipstick tube from the engine block. I know there is a bracket at the top of the the tube but what seals the tube into the block? Thanks in advance.

    BATTERY SHUT OFF UNIT

    i HAVE A 94 RT 10 AND 97 GTS. i HAVE INSTALLED THE BATTERY SHUT OFF UNIT ON BOTH CARS TO PREVENT DISCHARGE. EACH TIME I TURN ON THE UNIT DOES THE COMPUTER NEED TIME TO LEARN SETTINGS AND IS THIS PROCESS AFFECTING PROFORMANCE AND COMPUTER LIFE? pLEASE REPLY.
