I may be mistaken but it seems I ran across one for sale or something several years ago that was striped w/ cognac. I've believed ours was one of less than fifteen since then.
Just posted a pic of ours at www.facebook.com/GraphiteVipers. I haven't been able to determine how many Monotone Graphite's w/ Connelly were produced verses striped.
Hey Joe!
Ann Arbor is having their first annual Jackson Road Cruise tomorrow. You can check out the details at JRCRUISE.COM. I'm registered at the Meijers store but will play it as I see it tomorrow. I agree on the "Drive It" attitude.

I thought of putting "DR JKYL" on my daily driver and "MR HYDE" on the Viper. But my DD is a commercial vehicle and Michigan doesn't allow vanity plates on them. My current one is "TCKTPLZ" and that gets lots of chuckles.
We had company from out-of-state so I had to cancel my participation. But I did have my brother take photos of the cruise participants as they traveled near Milan: http://www.discovermilan.org/Slide%20Shows/MotorCity%20Viper%20Club/slideshow_as2.html
I think they had police :cop: from 5 different departments including the State Police. They were writing tickets left & right for burnouts. I guess they're trying to re-claim control :devgrin:compared to previous years.
I participated last year and was the only Viper in the car show. There was a yellow RT/10 and a yellow Prowler that were in the cruise though. A husband and wife team and she had the Viper. He said he just likes to cruise in the Prowler.
The roads in Hell are still hell. The rest of the route...
I avoid the Ann Arbor Art Fair but the Friday before (the 13th) there is the Rolling Sculpture Car Show in downtown Ann Arbor. I plan to have the Viper there along with the 400+ other cars they get.
The golf club said it was fine for us to park out by the road as long as there aren't 30 or 40 cars. The weather isn't looking too promising though :rain:. I'll be there about 11:00 providing I don't have to drive in real heavy rain to get there. I'll probably hop into the procession about...
I was correct on the date but the time was wrong. The correct info is:
Sunday, June 24, 2007 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
I have a registration form that was e-mailed to me. Anyone can P.M. me with their e-mail address if you would like me to forward it to you.
The details I have posted at the beginning of this thread is all I have found out so far. They had about 50% pre-register last year but I think we would want to at least let them know how many Vipers to expect if we want to be grouped together. I've sent an e-mail to a member of the Saline...
The Saline show is on the city streets and a parking lot right in the center of town. There was plenty of room around each vehicle also. They grouped the different brands/models as much as possible on the street. The parking lot contained a potpourri of cars.
I wasn't there for Howell last year...
The Power Tour will be coming from Cleveland Ohio to the Sterling State Park in Monroe for lunch. I have found a place on N. Dixie Highway that is right off of 75 that has a nice parking lot right on the edge of the road. It is the Raisin River Golf Club. The cars will be going by here in both...
Wheelbase is another consideration. The longer the better for stability. But he did request an SUV.
Here's a post I found on the TBSS: http://www.trailblazerss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8115&hl=towing
But I wouldn't recommend exceeding the rating by that much.:nono:
Sunday, June 3rd, the Hot Rod Magazine "Power Tour 2007" will be travelling through Michigan. There should be well over 1,000 vehicles in this parade of power including Jay Leno's new turbine powered car if finished in time and the Camaro concept car.
They are scheduled to travel in the...
The Grand Cherokee SRT-8 was my first choice but it can't tow.
I haven't towed anything heavy with mine yet but the Trailblazer SS is rated for 6,800 Lbs in 2WD and 6,600 in AWD. I couldn't be happier with mine. I've owned two Expeditions and two Avalanches that were rated about the same but...
I found this on the Trailblazer SS board:
"I have a friend that flies helicopters for a living and have helped him do some work in the city(Chicago) before, and today we shot a car scene on canal and I parked the TBSS on one of the corners we drove past while filming. I don't know when the...
I was considering restoring an older car like the '69 Cougar I had in my younger days. Memories of always wrenching on the car :( persuaded me to look for something newer that would still hold it's value and probably appreciate.
The Viper seemed to fit the bill so I looked into it closer. It...
