    Hey Phoenix 1...I bet your glad you asked..lol. I was in the car audio/electronics business for 18 years and sold them all except the V1. My friends kept bragging about it, so I bought one. By far the best I've ever owned, and I've owned alot.

    SVS short shifter- group buy

    I got the 2" lower one for my 2005 and it works great. The lower model reduces the the throw of the shifter and you don't need a new knob or bezel. I highly recommend you get one.

    Can somebody CarFax the VIN to see where it came from to determine if it was a track car? Or maybe run the VIN through Dodge to see who the first owner was?

    2008, GEN IV??

    It's pretty obvious after reading the prior posts that if you own a Gen III car that the 2008 should be a Gen III as well, but if you own an older car then it should be a Gen IV. I own a 2005 Mamba so I'll vote for Gen III so I don't have to go buy the latest and greatest.

    Just like with most electronic devices, the first thing you should always do is remove power from it to let the microprocessor reset. I would speculate that by draining the battery fully it just reset the processor and fixed your problem.

    Now that it is getting colder, my 2005 Mamba seems to "wheel hop" when I give it a spirited test drive. Seems worse with a passenger. I've heard of other viper owners compaining about this, but how do you fix/minimize it? Any help is appreciated.

    Have you checked your tire pressure? If I set mine to the factory spec it does it bad...I've found that by increasing the pressure a bit it seems to help a bunch. I have the factory runflats with 4,500 miles on the 2005 Mamba.

    Need picture of inside stock SRT muffler to compare

    I don't have a picture, but the stock muffler is straight through and the dodge street muffler has four 1" tubes inside. I have the dodge street exhaust and it is fairly quiet at low rpm, and a bit more aggressive at higher rpm.

    I have a 2005 SRT. Is the cars mileage stored in the instument cluster or in the car's computer? I was thinking of changing the clusters backgrounds and did'nt know if I put a new cluster in if the mileage would stay correct. Any thoughts? Thanks Tyler
