    Just curious how hot your Viper is running at what temperature and location. We average 96 degrees (high) @ 5000ft altitude in Albuquerque NM hit 225 on temp gauge.

    Please fill in the blanks.... Stock 3:07 gears are best between "blank" gear through "blank" gear? 3:55 gears are best through "blank" through "blank" gear? I am trying to understand the gear thing.

    Don, Thank you for your detailed explanation. It's just too loud I want to tone it down without putting the stock set-up back on. I was hoping somebody already tried a catback and left the headers and RT Cats alone and got it a bit more quiet. Thanks.

    My current set-up (98 GTS/Stock) Belanger Headers, RT High Flo Cats, Corsa 3" Cat-Back. I am just trying to get the Tractor sound down keeping the 3" set-up. I don't want to loose the headers and RT Cats but can adjust at the cat-back level. Thanks.

    The tech said it could also be caused by the fuel sitting in the car so long (only 1k in a year) and when he ran it and I ran it home I/he could not hear it anymore. Maybe me adding fuel and its current running stopped it. What do you think of the compression results?

    Thank you for your help and response. The ppi results came out very good, the compression test came back at 130-135 on all cylinders the tech said it was very good but I don't know what is normal for 23k miles. No leaks and or items worn. What do you guys think?
